I've read most all the Sci-Fi great novels and Guardian Force stands with the best. I'm looking forward to reading the sequels.
The “Guardian” series by D. Arthur Gusner is a reminder to all of us rabid Sci Fi fans,
how much the serial stories are loved and missed. This author’s true to form, science- based story-telling is up there with the likes of Asimov, Bradbury, Heinlein and O.S. Card. One can only wonder how these past to present and future writers have shaped a genre that extends far beyond our own limited realities.
As a scientist, Gusner’s knowledge of the universe is impressive and his stories reflect it. His knowledge of history and his understanding of human nature add dimension to the development of his characters and storyline. Read book 1 and you’re hooked. Then sit back and allow yourself to be entertained and awed by this thought-provoking 5-book series. (Guardian Force, Earth Guardian, Guardian Probe, Guardian Strike and Guardian Thunder)
Gusner's writing moves right along. Ideas that take your mind out of the everyday.
Highly imaginative plot and very well written with good characters. I've been reading sci-fi for over 55 years and this series is one of the best yet, can't wait 'til the next book!
