So I'm here to relax a bit before the concert, which my mother is going to dress me up as much as she likes.

But NO! Even the computer hates me! Grrrrr....

It was fine just now, but now...

OMG, you know I took 30 min to see a short 5 min clip? It load so ******* slow!

And the whole episode is 40 min long. How many hours do I need to watch finish?

So now here I am , typing this blog to keep my mind off the stupidloading of videos.

I did exactly half of my homework. The other half save it for tomorrow. So now I have nothing to do...

Or I could do ALL my homework, then tomorrow whole day, got nothing to do.

I prefer the former.

Hurray! The moment we have been waiting for, and it's gone now! Wow, time passes really fast, huh?

Okay to start off with this post, I shall say how bad my assembly performance is. I made a mistake and I repeated! Man this is one mistake someone should never ever made and I made it. :(

Okay but when I went around asking people about it people were like huh you got repeat meh? Haha it seems that I am able to hide my mistakes pretty well. :)

Okay let's move on to the next topic...

What shall it be?

Oh btw yesterday I was randomly thinking, and I started to wonder why humans start to wear clothes.

I find it very weird, if human were created to be naked, then what come to their mind that they have to wear clothings?

The fact that they are cold does not really prove anything. We could always grow more hair or something to get used to the weather, like the other animals.

And I think it over and over again. In the bible it said something like Adam ate the whatever apple(forgot the name) and suddenly realise that they are naked and start to wear clothes.

Well, considering that the apple make you clever, I shall think in a clever way why being naked is bad.

Well, first of all, being naked will expose all your body to the opposite sex, so the opposite sex will be as familiar to your body as theirs, thus there is no sexual feeling toward the opposite sex anymore. So if you wear clothings, you will hide some parts of your body which the opposite sex does not have, and thus making the opposite sex very, erm how to say, curious and so we get these kind of sexual feeling.

Okay I am explaining adult stuff now... So I don't understand it either. Sorry if you find it too sick to read, you can don't read it if you don't want to. But by now, you should have read it without warning, so...sorry!

Okay another reason is simpler. If everyone don't wear clothes and grew hair to adapt to the environment instead, you will not be able to travel from one country to another for fun as you will not be able to adapt. Migrating is another thing. (But how are you going to migrate? No wings and all. Aeroplane only exist like a few centries ago)

But it could be also that the amount of hair human grow is limited, like do you notice that westerners have a lot of hair? Probably because of their weather. So they do adapt a bit. But because the amount of hair is limited, so have to wear clothes so that they will not freeze.

Well...according to Jem, growing hair is a very nice thing, so guys that want hair on their bodies can migrate to cold countries so that your body will be forced to grow hair out. Haha.

Okay this post is so lame...Anyway....

Yesterday, I had a really big impact.

Okay I can't help it. After all you have to be a bit surprise when the result you get is something you never ever thought about it being possible.

Haiz I will never understand the judges' thoughts.

No matter what the judges think, I have always thought that our band is at least a gold band. People always thought that our band is a gold band. What the judges think is only a minority to what so many of the people think.

The band logo: the passion lives on. I hope even after this great impact, we will still be able to move forward.

Yesterday night I did a lot of thinking, and came up with this conclusion that we still got room to improve, that's why we're not in our best state and therefore cannot expect confirmed good results.

Anyway, I have made up my mind. In my four years in band, I'm definitely going to be contributing a lot to the band, and I'm going to make sure, that the dream of our seniors, the gold with honours dream, will come to light as long as I, Liwei, is in band. There is two more years. There's no time to be grieving. We may reflect but only for one day. There's no need to waste time to appeal or anything to get back our gold standard.

We got only two years, and we're going to make full use of these two years to make a great comeback! Let the other schools out there discussing with shock that Nanyang improved so much over two years.

This isn't the end, there is still so many years of life going on till the end of the world. Nanyang concert band is going to keep on hwaiting and improving, until the judges have no idea where to minus our marks.

I know the Sec 4s and 3s have the greatest impact as this will be their last SYF, but they can always come back and hwait with us.

For tmr's blk test.

I know you wont be looking at this before the blk test because you will be busy studying for it and whatever... so hard working. So you wont know that I actually jiayous you guys...

Anyway im not posting this blog for fun. It is for my revision. Those that is taking physics or will be, it will be a good thing to read this post. haha

Okay, today I had band run. So, I shall apply Newton's first law of motion, the law of inertia: an object with inertia at rest tends to remain at rest, and if at motion will tend to remain at motion.

So that explains why we tend to start off slowly. But keep in mind that if you work hard and increase the speed, you can just apply 0N of force and you will still be running in the same speed. So cool rite! So tip for NAPHA is that you have to keep incresing your speed till you're fully satisfied.

The law of inertia also explains why overweight people tend to have more trouble running. As the factors the affect inertia are mass and acceleration. The more mass something has, the more inertia it has, thus more difficult to accelerate. So if they are unable to accelerate that fast, they get a bad start you know.... So those overweight people better buck up!

Haha, since I think I have the least weight in the class, I should be the fastest runner? Lol...Even though I'm the lightest, but my force is not great enough to accelerate fast enough, due to my lack of muscies. So underweight people also must buck up. Haha, so average people should all be running faster than me (which most does not).

Okay, anyway, using the same law, I know why when the bus brakes we move forward. Because when the bus stops, we are atill moving, due to the law of inertia (object in motion will remain in motion). So we will continue moving forward while the bus stops already, thus explaining why we will plunge forward when the bus brakes.

However today while sitting in the bus with Michelle, I dont feel any plunging or sth. Maybe because of my mind so into tmr's science, or because of the stupid traffic, anyway...

So I reached home and took the elevator to the 13th floor. I gain gravitational potential energy, but I do not know what I lost. You have to lose something to gain something, as energy cannot be created by itself, as stated in the law of conservation. Anyone knows kindly please tell me.

While I'm at it, I shall state all law of conservation of energy: Energy can only be transfered from one form to another; energy cannot be created nor destroyed; total energy that exist do not change, remains the same throughout.

So the potential energy I gained = mgh = Wh = 380N x 13 storeys(I have no idea how tall that is)

Okay anyway, continue! I went into the house, and switch on the lights. The switch, which is connected to the live wire, so as not to get us electocuted, connects the lighting circuit in the house( which is connected to the ring circuit in the house).

I washed my hands, and without wiping I went to off the lights. This is dangerous as water will reduce the resistance to electricity in your skin and, as water is a conductor of electricity, cause your hand tohave less resistance to the electricity in the circuit, causing you to be electrocuted.

However, rest assured that the MCB fuse in the lighting circuit is 5A, so if the electricity current is higher than 5A, the MCB will trap the circuit, breaking the circuit. So with only 5A, you will only receive harmless shock even if you are electrocuted.

Sadly, nothing happened to me, so I'm alright with no shock at all. :(

According to my notes, the dry human hand has 100 kilo ohm of resistance. R=V/I, or R=pl/A. Obviuosly my hand does not have any current or voltage, so my hand should have be made of a material with high resistivity, and must be very long, yet with a small cross-sectional area. So conclusion, people who have long but skinny hands has higher resistivity. Those with small pudgy hands better watchout, you have a higher possibility of getting electricuted. Lol.

Ok I know this post is very boring... but it's fun for me! I'm writing this while listening to DBSK's music. So cool! I love Changmin and Jaejoong! Now dont go roll eyeballs over me. This is called making good use of the time. Haha.

Is boys over flowers really that nice? So far 5 people have come recommend me watching it, and it's 5 + 1 = 6 people when yueling told me about it while walking home with me.

Maybe during the June holidays I should watch it. Or maybe I should watch it now? Haha I very slack now. I was meant to do my fenxi but apparently I forgot to bring a page of the wenzhang so i cannot do now.

btw i am currently in my aunty's house. My mother forced me to come one. Never mind lah. The piano here is so much better than my house's I can practise here.

Anyway DO YOU KNOW THAT I WILL BE PERFORMING IN ASSEMBLY NEXTNEXT WEEK? Ahhh I'm so scared lah. It's rite after lang arts blk test, so after lang arts I still cannot rest and party around until after assembly. :(

Aiyo if mrs ho informed me earlier I could have had more mental preparation. What's the use of informing me yesterday when the performance is like, two weeks after??? With two blk test in the way??? I think I'd think too much about it until I fail science.

Honestly! I tell you the piece that I'd be playing will be so g******* boring as compared to the others, they will surely become restless after hearing me and become very distracting. ( Restless people usually move around a lot)

Haiz, let's be a good LA student and apply it to the real life. Who is the most courageous person?


Well, I have done a lot of deep thinking...hmmm.... and I have concluded that those with real courage usually are the people that is not recognised or being thought as brave.


So who is brave? I think that .... Hey wait I must not forget that I need to start off with an introduction. Ok fine.


The courageous people in real life are my father, people who betrayed Hitler, DBSK, and Stella.


My father is a very courageous person. Throughout his life, he does not seem to be able to
communicate well with his boss (aka boot lick and kiss his boss' ass), so he was fired quite a
number of times. Being fed up with the fact that he always need to suck up to the boss, he went
and set up his own company. At that time, my older brother is in JC and preparing to go
university, I am aiming for an independant school whose school fee is too big a sum to look at and
stay calm, and my little brother just got into Kindergarten. Well, you see, if my father decided to
quit his job and start off a company at this time and he fails, the family will be very devastated.
He endured a lot of inner turmoil before he determinedly stood up and said he wants to set up a
company and earn lots of money. At first my father did not earn any income, and keep asking
my mother for money to support him. All our family were disapproval to my father's choice,
thinking that he would not succeed. Due to his determination, my father succeeded, and is now
earning a lot of money. If my father did not have the courage to live up to his dream, and to
ignore all our disapproval, he would not have succeeded. Therefore, I think that my father is
very courageous.


There was this movie I saw about a few people trying to plot Hitler's death. They have a family of theirs, but because of their love for Germany, they think that killing Hitler is the best way, thus sacrificing their life and maybe the safety of their family. There were people that were scared and kind of destroyed their plan, but there were people who took initiative to make the plan work again. When they are found out and were about to be executed, one of them said to his members, "Look into their eyes, so they will always remember you" What they did was really courageous. They did exactly what Atticus said about true courage, they know they will be executed doing these, but they did it for the sake of their country. Hitler had full support of the whole country, and they were the only people against them. When they tried to kill Hitler, the atmosphere was so tensed and frightening, yet they still act calm and execute their plans. From all these, I feel that they have a lot of courage and love for their country. Will Singaporeans be like that too? I wonder...


The third point is DBSK of course, but it is not really DBSK, it's just any people that went to auditions, whether they succeeded or not. DBSK is one of an example that passed their auditions, but I just used them in the introduction because I love them! Haha so lame right. Anyway, I think people that go to audition are very brave. They have a lot of confidence in themselves, even in front of the judges. That I think requires a lot of courage. Being seen in front of the tv, with the highly critical judges in front of you, and still able to sing very confidently, letting your heart out...well all I know is I do not have the courage to do it. Well, I guess you need a certain level of confidence and courage in order to be a superstar.


Well, of course, I have told you about people I know and you may not know. So I shall tell you someone in my class. If you are in my class, you'll definitely know her. She is STELLA! She sit next to me in HMP, and from a lot of occasions I think she is a really really brave person. I used to think she is a really non-chalant person, as that's what her appearance tell me. She kept this very relaxed and not-one-time-nervous expression. During HMP performance, I was so nervous, well I showed it to everyone I met. For her, she just sits there, and when her turn came, she just goes up there and play. It turned out she did not really play that well. She returned to her seat, with the same expression, and put her hand underneath the table, so no one can see her hand shaking, which are the only thing that gives away her nervousness. She hid her nervousness and does not let her nervousness affect people. It may affect her playing, but she did not want it to affect people around her. Yet I let my nervousness affect everyone, not hiding it, I am completely different from her! Stella, in my mind, is the most courageous person I have ever met (other than my father). Today, she did a performance too, and I can tell she is nervous. The audiences will probably think that she did not practised enough, but I knew better. Her hands are the only give away to nervousness. If Mrs Ho treat her better, she might actually do well. Mrs Ho is giving her all the stress. Yet she remained couregous and keep all her nervousness hidden away.


The bravest people I know are brave in a certain way that I admire, and I really could not follow their way, because I, sadly, is not brave enough. The most courageous people I know are my father, betrayals of Hitler, people I saw in the auditions and Stella, my good desk mate during HMP.

I seriously need to order my links in alphabetical order. Sarah tagged me and asked me to link her. I was checking for her link and I had a headache. Shichen tagged me and asked me to link her, which I did, only she haven't realise it. This is such a bother, I should really organise my links.

I was just watching some lame show, and the character was eating his food, and everyone can tell that something's troubling him.

That's kind of weird. It's like you can tell what the person is thinking just by seeing them eat!

Now how weird is that?

Let me give you some examples:

When you see a person eating something faster than usual, it's either she's hungry, or she really loves the food. Either way, she still likes the food. Conclusion: from today on, she'll keep buying the food till she gets sick of it.

When you see a person eating faster that usual, but slows down later, it's very obvious she eats very fast at the start because she's hungry, and later slows down because she's not hungry anymore and the food sucks! Conclusion: she'll try to avoid buying the food from now onwards.

When a person eats the food that she likes slower that usual, or was very concentrated on her food, it's apparent that there's something troubling her. Not that the food sucks. Because one can't just change their appetite just like that, only a pregnant woman can. It's also not because that the food rocks that she is so into the food. Come on, what's so interesting about the food that it makes you want to concentrate on eating it?Conclusion: after this she will probably get really fed up about the fact that no one can tell that she's troubled.

When someone eats and talk animatedly at the same time, it shows that she's very high in the moment, even if she end up eating very slow. Conclusion: Do not tell her that she should close her mouth and eat because that would totally ruin her mood.

So that's all the scenarios I can think about. I'll add in when something pop into my head.

Conclusion: eating is a very good way of finding out what your friends are thinking.

Yes, you heard it right, fats.

Now fats are harmful to your health, your physical appearance and your heart.

You should know why fats are harmful to your health. Excess fats will be clogged to your blood vessels and, blah, blah, blah, you get breathing problems and You Will Die.

It's harmful to your physical appearance because well, if you eat too much fats, er... you will grow fat, and well, ahem ahem, your appearance would not be that, ahem ahem, nice.

Now let me explain why fats are harmful to your heart. Not as in the your-blood-vessels-will-be-clogged-and-blah-blah-blah-the-blood-is-unable-to-reach-to-your-heart-and-stuff, because that is catergorised under the health department.

No, no. There's another reason for that, which is what makes the reason so special it needs to be catergarised under the heart department.

You see, oil has a very low density, so almost everything that drops inside the oil will sink. So if you eat too much fats, aka oil, your whole body will be less dense and your heart will sink!

Now how terrible is that! Not only will you suffer a sinking feeling everyday, you will be very low everyday, and you will probably never get high anymore!

So, my advise to you is: do not eat too much fats.

Human has weird emotions.

Some are totally unnecessary.

Some are good for health.

All can help in telling the nature of human beings.

Let's give some examples.



--We can tell that human is generally an ego person, everything is about themselves.

>When you are angry, you are angry because someone did something you don't like. This

shows that we only cared about what we feel.

>When you are happy because you won, you only got happy because it's you who won, not the

other. When you are sad because you lost, you only got sad because it's them who won, not you.

This shows that people are competitive, they just want to win win win.

>People do get jealous and envious sometimes, and obviously this shows that people is ego. But

the thing is everyone will at least one time in their life get jealous or envious, so people has to be

at least ego one time in their life.


Sad, right? Knowing you are ego but you can't help it.


--We can also tell that people are generally afraid of things that should not be frightening.

>People gets nervous because they are onstage and a lot of people is staring at them. But don't

they get a lot of people staring at them too while they are having their conversation? Isn't it

about the same?

>Everyone is afraid of the dark, you cannot deny it. It's just your level of afraidness(if there's

such a word) differs. You are always afraid of the dark in some way. Mainly because you don't

know what's next. A suspense, you see. We are afraid of suspense even if you claimed that you

like it. Your heart would definitely beat faster at the suspense part, depending on how well the

author wrote it.



Wow, there are meant to be more, but there is certainly no time.

By the way, smile more. It is healthy to your heart( your heart will beat livelier and free-er). It

may be slightly tiring due to the fact that it uses 26 of your face muscles, but being happy, (be

careful not the after-winning-type-of-happiness) is actually the best emotions of all.

Okay I'm lame. :p

Sad. Today I woke up at 7.

I was so anxious I knocked down many things on the way, and thus leading to the sudden awaking of my whole family...

Haha.

I will definitely fail one.

Today Hilary said I'm stoning.
